Founded in late 2014 by entrepreneur Greg Pickren, Marine Mat set out to revolutionize marine decking. Pickren and his team were no strangers to closed-cell EVA foam products, having years of experience developing a full product line of traction mats for personal watercraft under the BlackTip Jetsports brand.

Drawing on this expertise and a scientific approach, the team has developed the most advanced EVA foam decking in the industry. Marine Mat holds multiple patents for innovations in both its Snap-it and Stick-it product lines. The Snap-it system introduced the industry's first snap-in removable flooring, transforming the marine industry by offering builders a high-quality foam alternative to traditional carpet. Marine Mat’s latest breakthrough, the tear-proof Stick-it product, is the most durable adhesive EVA foam flooring on the market, making it easier than ever to update boat flooring without the hassle of replacing stick-down EVA foam.

Marine Mat has grown into one of the world’s largest suppliers of EVA foam products for the marine industry. These products are distributed directly to boat builders, through a network of dealers, and directly to aftermarket retail customers via the website. Expanding its global reach, Marine Mat established a design center in Taiwan in 2019 and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Slovakia in 2023 to better serve European and Middle Eastern markets.
